WineKnot

Dave's knot tying class, "WineKnot", went awesomely! He had a turn out of about 30 people; which was surprising considering a lot of the old salts out here don't like to think someone might know more than they do. I think some of those guys came under the pretense that their wife needed help....but surely not them! 

He reviewed the bowline, clove hitch, cleating off a dinghy, figure eight, figure eight on a bite, double figure eight on a bite. All of which I already know, thanks to Dave (I have to fluff my own ego sometimes, only fluffing Dave's can be exhausting). At the end of the class, he also taught some of the ladies how to tie a noose. We'll let you know how that develops...

It was so popular, he's scheduled another next Thursday evening, this time to review some more complex knots. Including the elaborate, Monkey's Fist. 

We're now referred to as the 'Knotty Couple' in the harbor. We can't deny those accusations.
