Here are some of the photo's promised from Little Harbour, Abacos. We only wish we could really capture the presence of this community. We've made some really incredible friends in the area, they've taken us in like family. Everything from gracious dinners in their beautiful beachfront houses, to dropping us off vegetables from their gardens. We really can't even describe the wonderful people here - they're truly each so special.
This is the awesome 'Pete's Pub'. It's the only restaurant and bar in town. They have some of the best food we've ever had. We even got to know Pete himself a little bit. He is the most generous man we've ever encountered.
The staircase to the beach from Pete's Pub - complete with a bronze statue on the top of the hill. The entire town is covered with these one-of-a-kind statues, along with other beautiful and eclectic works of art. It's the most visually spectacular town, photo's do no justice.
The actual bar itself is built from the original boat that Randolph Johnston sailed here with. This is a carved in image of a hammerhead on the bartop.
The harbor during sunset. The caves on the left are where the Johnston Family lived when they first arrived in the harbor.
The narrow entrance in is one of the reasons this harbor is so great for weathering out storms and high winds.
All of the houses here are brightly painted, completely solar and rely on water from personal cisterns.
