Ship O' Fools

We took a snorkeling trip on our friends boat, Charles and Hilary, aboard Ship O' Fools. It's a beautiful trimaran. Where Mckinley is standing, there are trampolines to lay out on. She really enjoyed the ride on this board, there was so much room for her to roam and lounge. We're just going to loan Mckinley out to them anytime it feels like there isn't enough room on our boat. Problem solved!

This was the view of her from underneath the trampoline. She couldn't figure out where my voice was coming from....When we were out snorkeling, she had her eye on us none stop. It's kind of flattering to be stalked like this from her, but also a little unnerving. We wish she could have that kind of attention span when we are trying to train her.

We got a chance to get her out onto a surfboard - she totally rocked it. She's a dolphin at heart, never evolved too much from her aquatic past I guess!

The snorkeling was better a few days earlier at Sombrero Light House, unfortunately someone had dumped a big pile of garbage into the ocean somewhere upwind of us. This meant there was more garbage to see underwater than fish. Depressing. Dave did his best to clean up what he could, but eventually we realized it was a never ending chore. We have storms rolling in this week, so no more playtime until the weather clears up.
