The beginning of our Bahamas trip!

Alright – these blogs will be far and few between for a bit (not that we were doing so hot on them before).

We’ve been in Bimini since Saturday night. We’ve been holed in here due to heavy winds and seas. As of right now, our plan is to head out at sunrise tomorrow morning.

It's spectacularly beautiful here. We’ve played in the waves on the pristine beaches (El Doggo included), Dave went snorkeling on a sunken ship, I walked the entire length of the island, we're enjoying the occasional get-together with other cruisers and are constantly admiring the vivid blue water!

Wouldn't you know it - our BRAND NEW Olympus camera crapped out on us the third day we got here! We even bought that damn thing just for this trip! We have a big ol' Nikon D90 with a massive lens on it, but that won't help us under da sea. Nor do we want to go toting that thing around for advertisement either. Grrrr!!!
