We met a great couple in the Harbor, Kristopher and Lita. They're both fire dancers; they put on local shows around the islands. They invited us to hang out at Bahia Honda with them to try out kiteboarding. Naturally, Dave and I jumped at the opportunity. The yellow kite it the more experienced kite, you can see Kristopher on it. Dave and I, being the newbies, trained on the smaller one. They make it look easy - but it took us awhile to get the hang of it. In the video, you can't tell that the kite is actually pulling me around. I had my heels dug in and was leaning back - just to prevent it from pulling me to shore. We've developed a taste for it. We'll let you know when we get one of our own, sooner rather than later!
